Infrastructure and Security Management

Security is handled exclusively by assesswise as follows -

Access restriction

Assesswise has no remote access to your data. Your chosen administrators have sole access rights. Access to your data is restricted to your organisation alone. To avoid potential loss of data during a system failure, data is mirrored at two separate physical server locations.

Server Infrastructure

All security processes are designed and operated according to the ISO 27001 framework - The British Standard for Information Security Management Systems.

Both hosting locations conform to the following minimum standards:

• Raised flooring
• Manned 24/7 security
• Appropriate Heating Ventilation and Cooling (HVAC) systems
• Redundant (N+1) power supplies delivered to rack
• Diverse power supply to separate sub-stations
• Diverse network feeds into the building
• 'Onion Layer' security model using access request mechanism, proximity and or biometric entry systems
• Generator Backup with fuel supply onsite
• UPS backup
• Fire Suppression

Logical security is provided through robust processes and procedures, and the right technology featuring:

• Server hardened build
• Change control
• Patch policy
• Firewall management and policy authorisation
• Privileged User Access (to ensure access to privileged accounts is restricted and controlled)

• Provision of Cisco Intrusion Prevention services at network level
