Lots of assessments claim to be effective in predicting the success of your employees but often they can't deliver. There are several reasons for this:
- They measure things like personality that is not a predictor of success
- They rely on a hiring candidate or an existing employee to be vulnerable and honest when a job offer or maybe a promotion is on the line.
- They measure the same things regardless of industry even when the nuances of qualities needed to be successful in each industry may be very different
